About Project
Our client is a Germany-based company that offers software solutions and services for the MEP design. We have already worked with this client before on two of our projects. And since we already had a trusted relationship and an established workflow, the client decided to go with our company for its next project.
When the client reached out to us, their primary request was to create a B2C store based on the existing Magento 2 instance for B2B clients. The client wanted to ensure that the online stores would keep operating flawlessly.
Challanges
Our client’s eCommerce website provides its visitors with subscriptions. This project required us to create a software as a single used product type with different subscription plans. This factor makes the process much more difficult. Therefore, our team had to put a lot of effort into this task in order to achieve the results that the client expected from us.
What we did
The client came to us with several requests. To implement this project, we did the following:
- For the Magento 2 development, we have chosen a Hyvä theme to maximize the performance of a website.
- Created a subscription plans table: users are able to select a plan to buy based on a list of its features.
- Developed a video catalog: users have the opportunity to browse the tutorials for each software product.
- Conducted Integration tests.
As a result, we created a convenient and performative eCommerce B2C store based on the existing Magento 2 instance for B2B clients. We met all the requirements and deadlines, and our team received positive feedback.
